Brian is a 1989 graduate of Sycamore High School and he called Sycamore home for over 25 years.  He began visualizing the Sycamore Kindness Initiative in 2016, and is very appreciative to receive the wonderful support of the SHS faculty since 2024, which has realized the Initiative into what it is today.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1993).  He has worked previously in the telecommunications and laboratory equipment industries, and is currently an aerospace systems development team leader working on next-generation flight controls for the world's largest aircraft framers and their top suppliers.

Today, Brian lives in Arizona with his wife Beth.  In his free time he has narrated three audiobooks for adolescent children with visual acuity issues, and is also an aspiring public address announcer.  With Beth he's attended over 650 concerts featuring over 450 unique live acts, and is a music junkie with very wide tastes; he screens over 600 new songs per month in order to develop and publish his own Top 40-style countdowns.
